I’m an avid reader of mysteries and thrillers, but frequently read other genres as well. My own style has been molded by Faulkner, Hemingway, Twain, and countless others too numerous to name. But more than anything, it’s been the result of a collection of life experiences and travels off the Interstate, when I decided to take “the scenic route” rather than the most direct one to reach my destination.
If you can imagine a person who sold real estate, coached football teams in the high-powered world of Texas high school football, met and chatted with Prince Andrew and his wife Fergie, designed computer systems for a luxury car manufacturer, and worked at any number of dead end jobs to make a buck, then we might have a few stories to trade.

Oh your name sounds like that of a southern gentleman, my friend! Best of luck on all your, and your protagonists’, (ad)ventures!
Thank you, “darlin’” lol
I am also a Faulkner fan. In fact, I’m reading Absolom, Absolum! right now. I’m at the beginning where Henry kills Bon.
